...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 PM CDT THIS EVENING...
* WHAT...Minor coastal flooding expected.
* WHERE...Gulf-facing beaches, including the Matagorda
Peninsula, Brazoria County beaches, Galveston Island and the
Bolivar Peninsula.
* WHEN...Through Sunday evening.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only
isolated road closures expected.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Water levels are expected to approach 4 feet
above mean lower low water. This could result in standing water on
Highway 87 near Highway 124 on the Bolivar Peninsula as well as
near the Lynchburg Ferry and for low lying portions of Toddville
Road in Seabrook.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be closed.
Do not drive around barricades or through water of unknown depth.
Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone property.

* WHAT...Dangerous surf and rip currents are likely at the
beaches. Minor coastal flooding expected.
* WHERE...Gulf-facing beaches, including the Matagorda
Peninsula, Brazoria County beaches, Galveston Island and the
Bolivar Peninsula.
* WHEN...Through Sunday evening.
* IMPACTS...Hazardous swimming conditions conditions. Flooding
of lots, parks, and roads with only isolated road closures
expected.

* WHERE...In Louisiana, St. John The Baptist, Lower St. Bernard,
Southeast St. Tammany, Eastern Orleans, Southwestern St.
Tammany, Lower Tangipahoa and Southern Livingston Parishes. In
Mississippi, Southern Hancock, Southern Harrison and Southern
Jackson Counties.
* WHEN...Until 7 PM CDT Sunday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only
isolated road closures expected during high tide Saturday and
Sunday afternoon.

* WHAT...Minor coastal flooding expected.
* WHERE...Lower Vermilion, Lower Iberia and Lower St. Mary
Parishes.
* WHEN...Until 5 PM CDT this afternoon.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only
isolated road closures expected.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Tides will be 1.25 to 1.75 feet above
astronomical predicted levels, mainly during the times of high
tide from late morning through the afternoon hours. This will
allow actual tide levels to reach 1.5 to 1.75 feet mean higher
high water during the times of high tide.

...HIGH RIP CURRENT RISK REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH THIS EVENING...
* WHAT...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, minor coastal flooding.
For the High Rip Current Risk, dangerous rip currents.
* WHERE...Aransas Islands, Kleberg Islands, Nueces Islands and
Calhoun Islands Counties.
* WHEN...For the Coastal Flood Advisory, until 7 PM CDT this
evening. For the High Rip Current Risk, through this evening.
* IMPACTS...Flooding of lots, parks, and roads with only
isolated road closures expected. Rip currents can sweep even
the most experienced swimmers away from shore into deeper
water. These rip currents can become life-threatening to
anyone entering the surf.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
If travel is required, allow extra time as some roads may be
closed. Do not drive around barricades or through water of
unknown depth. Take the necessary actions to protect flood-prone
property.
Swim near a lifeguard. If caught in a rip current, relax and
float. Don`t swim against the current. If able, swim in a
direction following the shoreline. If unable to escape, face the
shore and call or wave for help.
